Real help

for when a chat isn't enough

journal

Noahkind is good company and honest with you, but he isn't a person in the room. Some things need someone who can actually be there. Reaching out isn't dramatic, and it isn't disloyal to anyone.

Quick exit and your privacy

If someone might look at your screen, × Quick exit at the bottom corner immediately replaces this open tab with BBC Weather and stops Noahkind’s speech. You can also press Escape twice within half a second.

Quick exit cannot erase your browser history or conversations saved on this device. It replaces only the current page: earlier Noahkind visits may still appear in your history or when you press Back.

For more privacy, consider using a Private or Incognito window. It usually removes that window’s history and local storage when all private windows are closed, but it cannot hide your activity from someone monitoring your device or network.

Chat history is stored locally in your browser. Use Reset in the chat to clear the current conversation. Separately saved journal entries and older conversations are not cleared by Reset; use “Delete everything” on the What Noahkind keeps page to remove all saved conversations and other personal details from this browser.

Don't sit with these on your own

Someone hurts you, threatens you, or makes you afraid of what happens if you say no.

You're being pushed into anything physical, or asked for photos.

Someone is checking your phone, tracking where you are, or deciding who you're allowed to see.

You're being asked to keep the relationship secret from everyone who cares about you.

You're thinking about hurting yourself, or you can't see a way through.

How to start the conversation

Pick one person who has been steady with you before — a parent, an aunt, a teacher, a school counsellor, a friend's mum, a doctor. You don't need the whole story ready. Borrow a line if it helps:

“Something's going on and I don't really know how to say it. Can I talk to you?”

“I need help with something and I'd rather you just listened first.”

“I'm not safe with this person and I don't want to be on my own with them.”

If the first person doesn't take you seriously, that's about them. Tell someone else.
